In my own words:

I am a translator, teacher and linguist by education. I have developed a natural talent in communication into a means for reaching out to and catering for different industries and work settings. 

Looking back, words are a continuum in my work life, having worked as a language teacher, a manager of health practices, as a content creator for textbooks, as a translator dealing with ranging topics such as environment, osteopathy and physiotherapy, cosmetics, psychology, interpreted at art festivals, in hospitality and trade conventions, and much more. As Textures now, I consider that words are not just a tool for communication. They are facilitators for communicating culture, ideas and projects.

My linguistic skills and subject knowledge are constantly improved and updated. As a member of ITI (Institute of Translation and Interpreting), I abide to their Code of Conduct and quality standards. Equally, we expect the same standards across Textures collaborators. These are among the achievements I am proud of:

• offer English, Spanish, French, and Dutch in our range
• completing a BA in Linguistics across universities in the United States, Scotland and Spain (Universidad de Granada y Almería, Mount Holyoke College, University of Edinburgh)
• obtained a degree in Translation
• completed a Master´s degree in Teaching
• completed a PhD in Literature 
• achieving a Technical Dental Health certificate
